VMRay?s Product Marketing Manager oversees the development of marketing campaigns and strategies for assigned VMRay organizational products or product lines. We all need to lend a hand as our Boston office grows so contributing to other facets of the sales cycle may be a part of the initial requirements.
?**This position could be stationed in either Boston, Massachusetts or Bochum, Germany depending on candidate selection.**
Responsibilities: Create and implement go-to-market plans for new products and features in collaboration with VP Product and Sales. Map marketing messaging to new product features. Creates and updates product data sheets, website content and blogposts. Develops and delivers product-specific training to sales or sales support teams. Presents, advocates and evangelizes the product in customer meetings, conferences, external webinars and internal meetings. Analyzes and interprets market research related to potential customers, competitive products and new markets for product. Collaborates with Product Management and Sales to determine priorities. Works closely with Product Manager and Sales. Participates in team alignment meetings. Collaborate with HR for tasks of recruiting and personnel development. Report status and progress of own work. Proactively identifies and reports market changes. Proactively identifies possible future issues. Reports and escalates problems as needed.
Experience and Requirements:?

Education (Bachelor's or Master's Degree) in related marketing fields. Computer Science or IT Security background is a plus. Minimum 2 years of experience in product marketing or product management Must be fluent in English. Proven ability to meet deadlines and benchmarks. Proven success in sales? and demonstrated knowledge of the sales process. Strong technical foundation in security technologies. Experience in social media and marketing tools. Experience working with customers regarding product / features. Understanding of Security technologies and a desire to learn more. Experience working together with other teams. Experience creating marketing specifications. Proven track record of performing complex tasks typically following established processes. Ability to lead and direct the work of other employees. History of establishing policies and procedures, departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change. Excellent organization and management skills ? attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional presentation skills. Independent worker and one who takes the initiative. Capable of hands-on problem solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions. ? ?
